Anyone else fascinated with the idea of penpals and tape-trading even though it’s completely obsolete?

I think I’ve been reading too many old letters, but I’m just thinking about of getting excited if I got something like that in the mail an how it’d probably be the highlight of my day.

Mainly cause I don’t have any friends where I live I guess. I can only hope to have something in the mail since I don’t have contact with many people.
