Your Mind Is Waiting To Be Programmed
“Your mind is just waiting to be programmed and the scary part is that if you don’t do it, someone else will.”

Nothing like a lil D'Angelo walking to and from. I dig it. The journey continues.

Seven: There’s No Such Thing as a Wireless Anchor
The whole celebration of Lenya’s life had an anchor theme to it.
The symbol of the anchor is powerful because of what it stands for: hope.
The book of Hebrews speaks of “this hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast”. (Hebrews 6:19) That’s a game-changer. A boat that is anchored can be battered, but it won’t be moved. And because of hope, even in the midst of the worst storms of this life, we have an anchor for our souls.
Hope is a powerful thing. Billy Graham once said, “what oxygen is to the lungs, hope is to our survival in the world.”
In Air Force survival training courses, instructors teach something called the “Rule of Threes”: In a survival situation you can last three weeks without food, three days without water, three hours without shelter in extreme conditions, and three minutes without air. But you can’t make it three seconds without hope.
The most important battle is the one you fight within, in your mind and heart, to not give up. If you give up hope, you won’t have the motivation to do anything else.
But what is hope?
At its most basic level, to have hope is to believe that something good is going to happen. That help is on the way. That it’s not over yet, no matter how dark it seems, there’s going to be light at the end of the tunnel. Hope is a confident expectation and joyful anticipation. An active, dynamic, energizing enthusiasm.
Our hope is a living hope because Jesus lives forever.
Our anchor is Jesus. As we make our way through this life, we are slowly being winched in, inch by inch.
The thing about anchors is that to be effective, they must be attached to something. There is always a connection: a rope or a chain. They aren’t wireless and can’t be connected by Bluetooth. The connection is every bit as vital as the anchor itself. It doesn’t matter how securely that big hunk of metal is wedged into the ocean floor – if you’re not tied to it, it’s not the least bit helpful. The chain matters greatly.
The wonderful thing about the anchor of the soul is that it, too, comes equipped with a mighty chain. Hope has a rope: the Holy Spirit. Jesus promised to send His Spirit to be our helper. He is our great rope that cannot be frayed, the one who has lashed our hearts to Heaven. He is proof that there is more in store and that death is not the end.
Objects in mirror are closer than they appear
In times of overwhelming sadness, your anchor should strengthen you, but you should also be encouraged by the chain.
The more room we give the Spirit to come upon us and control our lives, the more receptive we are to Heaven’s signal and guidance, the greater peace we will enjoy, and the stronger the pull of the rope connected to our Savior and those in Heaven becomes.
On the other hand, giving in to temptation and choosing to sin puts slack in the line. So how do you get the slack out of hope’s rope?
How do you feel more connected? You must be filled afresh with the Holy Spirit.
The more we are filled with the Spirit, the more Heaven comes near.
The gospel according to Iron Man
There are lots of ways to grow in your relationship with God’s Spirit: serving other people, taking a walk and venting to the Lord, reading the Bible, talking to a friend you can be real with. But I have found that there is nothing so powerful and effective as gathering together with the church.
Tony Stark views being Iron Man as a responsibility.
He puts it this way: “You know, I’ve got a cluster of shrapnel, trying every second to crawl its way into my heart.” He points to the electromagnetic arc reactor in his chest as he continues, “This stops it. This little circle of light. It’s part of me now, not just armor. It’s a…terrible privilege.”
I’m not Iron Man, but the pain of grief does feel like a chink of metal seeking to tear my heart apart. If I had been given a choice between the two, I would choose the shrapnel in a heartbeat because, though time has passed, the sorrow is still very severe.
When I am surrounded by God’s people and we all lift high the name of Jesus, the worship experience is like Tony Stark’s glowing arc reactor: the pressure inside my chest is alleviated, and the sharp barb gets temporarily pulled from my heart.
There is something about the gathering of God’s people that enables this glory to be experienced in a fuller way than is possible on your own. We gather so we can glow and then go.
Planted, Plugged in, Prepared
The transcendent moment in worship where all of God’s people are rallied together, praising the Lord, are like those feeing moments above the depths: a dark, hard week is coming, and you need all the sustenance you can get. Never take for granted the opportunity to breathe deeply when you are surrounded by an atmosphere of expectant faith supercharged bu the presence of God.
It is also crucial that you don’t wait for a crisis before you get these sorts of rhythms in place. You must train for the trials you’re not yet in. The worst time to try to get ready for a marathon is when you are running one.
Right now is the time to strengthen your faith. Today is the day to put down roots in a local church and sew yourself into the fabric of the body of Christ.
Public victory comes from private discipline. If you are willing to do the hard work now, then when dark days come, you will be ready. You will have people positioned in your life to hold you up and have your back. You will not faint in the day of adversity. Your trials will not be easy or over quickly, but you will get through it. Your anchor will hold within the veil, and one day the forerunner will bring you safely to the other side.
When you ignore the negative, you invite the positive

Keep fighting. Always.
What the enemy meant for evil God made it for good , God will turn it around for you and me .
Poor mindset: build relationships because you need them.
Rich mindset: build relationships because you want to exchange value.
Poor mindset: learn because someone told you to.
Rich mindset: learn because your curious mind wants to explore and grow.
I can feel something big coming. I don’t know what and I don’t know who and I don’t know when but all I know is this deep throbbing pain inside my head and heart. I don’t believe the storm has passed just yet. I don’t think it ever will. My stomach churns and turns and I still can’t find anything that can give me comfort. Trying to find a long-lost love in my pathetic excuse for a life, something to cling on, to keep on having hope.
But is love even real? A four-letter word that brings so much joy to some, and so much disaster to others. A word that can so easily be confused with desire or obsession. Love is nothing but a destroyer of worlds. No matter how hard we try to seek this undefining and never-ending emotion, I can’t seem to help but roll my eyes and gag. It seems a blind fold has been draped over every single living soul, leaving only a few with a pure sight that can see all creations and all emotions for what they truly are. And love is not one of them. Liars and cheats are what make the world go round. They feed off every single living mind, sucking all the power and purity that one has to offer. All the innocence and good left in the world, has been tainted by people wo don’t listen, nor to care. I feel empty, lifeless, no power or purity left. They have scorched me away of my self-love and self-right. With no firm foundation, I feel my cracks starting to grow and shake me to my very core.
I am crumbling, I am collapsing. And do I mind? No not at all, I’ve given up hope that there’s anyone one or thing out there great enough to stop this never-ending pain. But for this I can see the light, I do not have a vail over my eyes, masking the truth. I can see who you really are. I can’t help but feel an everlasting black cloud raining on my god damn parade. I am soaked. I have drowned. I am nothing.
Didn’t think the tables would turn so dramatically. Right now I love almost every module and every task on my infinitely long to do list which I’m managing quite well. I’m meeting people on my modules that feel like friends for purpose rather than friends for loneliness and I’m attending things that I really look forward to and come away feeling happy I went. But to be candid I still struggle to look after myself i.e. sleep on time and enough, eat on time and enough, put social media down etc. and quite frankly, that can be the hardest part of being a university student.
Ugh booooooooooredummmmm I couldn’t exaggerate the dragness. Just waiting on my weed to get here .-.
To become successful you must start with 2 beleifs:
1) The future can be better than the present.
2) You have the power to make it better.
