Good Morning! Happy Monday! Anyone make any New Year Resolutions?
I actually love New Year Resolutions. I know it’s cheesy, but I always use the New Year as a type of personal “performance review.” I’m not super strict on myself, but I do take a moment to reflect on the last year. I’ll ask myself things like…what did I accomplish…what were my successes and what didn’t work so well. Are there ideas, projects and habits that don’t serve me that should be put on the back burner or abandon? Then I’ll start making a list of goals for the new year. The one thing I noticed as I get older is the list of goals have become a bit more simplified. Is this a sign of maturity…laziness…?? I don’t know. Lol
But one thing is for sure, if you are taking on the task of New Year Resolutions, I do advise to try and not forget the small, fun stuff. Ya know, like eating a delicious cookie here and there. ;)

HAPPY NEW YEARS! AND HELLO to anyone who reads this…sooo anyways…
I hope you all had a great weekend wherever you may be in this world, my weekend was pretty low key some highlights are I got a new fridge, and I used the air fryer for my first time…holy shit I’m fucking wild. Didn’t go out on New Years Eve or anything but you bet your sweet ass I still put on a cute dress and drank some nice champagne! But can’t really complain, I’ve been working on decluttering, organizing and been working on the basement turning it into my little work out dojo for the winter time yah know?
I know this topic is lame but Mondays are for mindfulness, am I annoying about talking about it a lot? Yes. But it’s important so sit down and shut up.
This morning on my way into work I was listening to the podcast Mindset Mentor I recommend it in general but the episode I listened to today were about 2021 goals “How to Plan New Years Resolutions” and how to define what is it you want to accomplish this year and he breaks it into (9) different categories:

2. Personal development
3. Financial
4. Relationship
5. Spiritual
6. Health
7. Materialistic
8. Character
9. Experiential
.Listen it may sound corny… and listen you may be thinking “Can this b**** stop talking about it” anddd it may sound time consuming but come on people it is time to thrive and become your best self and to achieve. Like I may make a vision board? And if I do….maybe I’ll share it and hopefully it inspires one of you hoomans to do it.
Any ways I hope you guys have a marvelous day|week, and I hope you take a few seconds, mins to put away your phone or chill on scrolling and give yourself some quality YOU time.
