A different take on 4th July. This is Crazy Horse Memorial. It’s within driving distance of Mount Rushmore but it’s still c70 years from completion due to lack of funds.
Recently, the date and celebration of Australia Day has been in focus as it somewhat overlooks the impact on the indigenous population. I wonder if the indigenous populations of the USA have similar feelings towards 4th of July.
