Sleep is a good neutraliser.
Yesterday was a very overwhelming day for me emotionally. Some good and some bad and by the night I was emotionally drained. Didn’t know how to feel. Then I went to sleep.
Btw sleep is a lot better after an emotionally tiring day. It was so much easier to fall asleep. And I didn’t wake up in the middle of night (usually I do). It was a good sleep.
Today I find myself new, emotionally, mentally charged. Ready to take on the day. Sleep really helped calm down things.
Sometimes are just very overwhelming, it’s hard to process but then all you need is a break and there isn’t a better break than sleep.
Sleep neutralises everything. Gives back the balance. It is very underappreciated. I only wish I could sleep as easily on all days but that’s just a dream.
