Milkyway season is fast approaching (truthfully the season is upon us) and I can’t wait to get out to shoot the night sky.
This is a composite star trails shot. If i recall correctly, the star trails and the foreground were captured on the same night, but facing opposite directions. They looked better together, so I blended them in Photoshop.
Filmed back in January (before the covid lock-down), I have a new IGTV video that will be posted soon.
Find me on Instagram @ john_prisk to see it and my back catalogue of IGTV videos.
It’ll probably get posted on Wednesday, so keep your eyes peeled.

When there is splendor still
To feel, to be seen
In the trees, on the ground
Brown giving way to
Green–freshness and vitality
Tickled pink and taking time
To turn toward, opening
To the light, waving
In jubilant solidarity
More than a season
A reason to believe
In brighter days
Just some Fall Vibes from someone missing this atmosphere
