WAR! it leaves for a moment but returns with righteous fury that no one can really expect. when you defeat gods, though, can you ever pale at normal war again? ezia was a land of peace and happiness before the doom. an explosion, caused by their false gods — THE DIVINES — granted some ezians with magical powers. some powers were too great for those at the blast point to handle. some were untouched by the phenomenon. defeating the false gods who cursed them was the only path to peace, and as the dust settled, ezia fell into something like normalcy.
six years after the defeat of the false gods, a boat arrives in ARELLA, filled to the brim with ezians. they return speaking of magical creatures, short and tall. they talk of the patrians, the mystical king godfrey, and the war that they too experienced. a war that started and has not ended. the ezians got out while they could…but not without losing a few along the way.
KING FAUSTUS welcomes their arrival but warns them of less than ideal happenings on their home continent. on one hand, he has the SANGUINIS CULT, ruled by LYSANDER THORNE but with KATRINKA GYLDHIR as its mouthpiece. on the other hand, he has THE SHADOW LORD to contend with. this shadow was once known as mirza khan, but something twisted his mind when the divines died. where some gods died, mirza rose.
if that was not enough, FAUSTUS warns of war among the nations. HILAK has lost their old, dying king. with no heir to follow him, chaos reigned in their region until their war general took control. a man bred for war only does what he knows, and he immediately launched attacks on MAYWIA.
MAYWIA was a peaceful country, and they fell under HILAK’S control easily. now the hilaki come for ARELLA, and war is all they can give, as the general, KYAS LONGBLADE, is not keen to negotiate terms of peace.
thedoomhq is an appless, fantasy, and horror roleplay set in a fictional world called ezia. there is a war on every side, and those who call ARELLA home must fight to defend it alongside finding love, friendship, and burying hatchets. there are times of normalcy, even in war. they are charged to find it too. alongside their bloodlust and courage.
her voice on the phone
held all promises
hints of friendship
& then we met
middle of a busy city street
& lord knows
I am no oil painting
& neither was she
but when she spoke
was not the phone voice anymore
we found a place for coffee
sat & looked each other over
& I was wondering
if she was wondering
the same thing too:
where was the promise
so we spoke of mundane things
these two now become dull people
staring into their coffees
wondering how to bring this
to an end
oh I know
we were so long ago
& you had reasons enough
to let me blow
find someone new
as I did too
but there’s a song I listen to
rewinds those times
helps me feel bad
about how I treated you
I can forgive those things
you put on me
forget the twisted lies
distorted lines you put down
& it’s then
that I can’t let go
those three minutes
of a three-chord tune
when that’s over
I can go back to today
being with another
who treats me better
than you ever could do

I wonder if you remember me the way I remember you,
If you think of me the way I think of you?
The days when you made me feel so special even by just simply smiling at me,
Or making me blush by just a simple touch or word.
We were young and couldn't do anything,
But oh I wish we get to meet again, and oh I hope I get to see you once again after all these years and talk to you about all that we could not talk about then.
I hope I could have stayed there a little longer and talked to you,
If so would things change?
Would we change?
I hope we do because even after all these years, I still feel the same fluttering of heart, I felt years ago just by a mere thought of you.
But is it all me? Even so I hope we meet again, I hope we do...
I cannot stop drawing him rn. His hair is fun.
