thinking about all the blanket forts meeks and pitts have built in their dorm
My favorite game while writing is "how many headcanons i can push into this one fic without it becoming obnoxious?"
Am depressed,.,.,.,.must watch,.,.,.Neil Perry,.,.,.and,.,.,.,my pretty children.,.,.,.,
Headcannon that Pitts really was in love with that lampshade
Screw kink, if someone acted out the Radio Free America scene with me I would fall in love so hard
Who in Dead Poets Society would be most likely to file for a restraining order against you and why would this be the case?
Was ordering a 12x18″ DPS canvas, hence my recent absence.
I think something that is not talked about enough is why Pittsie only wanted to eat half a roll. Through thorough research (watching this movie every couple of days for months) I have concluded the two only explanations:
He wanted to eat the whole roll himself but, being the kind friend he is, decided to only take half knowing that one of his besties would also like to taste the delicious roll (awww)
But to be more realistic, it’s probably because his true dream job is to be a world renowned food critic. It is clear that he only took half because he is practicing for his future job. To him, this wasn’t just half a roll, but a sample of an excellent buttery bread appetizer at a prestigious 5 star restaurant in southern France
pitts’ favourite song on evermore would be cowboy like me - i will not be taking criticism at this time.
sun - taurus
the sun represents a person’s ego and identity.
having your sun in taurus means you’re dependable - as gerard is. he works hard, but slow; his plodding nature contrasts with meeks’ when pertaining to school work (this might be what makes them such great friends). solar taureans like to be comfortable, so they tend to relax more than play. they’re generally regarded as quite calm people, but as taurus is a fixed sign, gerard can become stubborn and rooted in his ideas - it’s best not to talk him out of things. he rarely gets jealous or petty, making for a very relaxed companion.
moon - gemini
the moon represents a person’s emotions and how they react to them.
lunar geminis are clever and witty - they often have a way with words that entertain people. they’re pleasant to be around, making for brilliant fiends. gemini moons need stimulation - pitts may get this from learning and making things like the radio. people with these placements can be seen as the ‘mum friend’ due to their need for peace and the joy they get from organising plans.
ascendant - cancer
your ascendant sign represents how people see you, your outward appearance, aesthetic etc.
as pitts’ ascendant is in cancer, he comes across as very gentle and familiar. people find him sweet and approachable - he is easy to trust. although he can be shy at first due to the need he has to protect himself, he soon opens up, allowing people to see that he is wonderfully kind and generous.
mercury - gemini
mercury reflects a person’s communication and how they process information.
people with these placements are quick-witted and intelligent. they seem to know a bit about everything, and pitts would take pleasure in answering any questions you have. he gets bored easily, but is a fast learner, and processes information quickly. this means that he can keep up in heated, fast paced conversations with ease. he may flourish in debates, and is a good arguer.
venus - virgo
venus reflects how a person loves and what their relationships may look like.
as his venus is in virgo, pitts isn’t too flirtatious, but that isn’t to say he isn’t a good boyfriend. in relationships, he’s incredibly dedicated and sensitive, always paying attention to his significant other. he is a wonderful listener and isn’t hard to please at all. however, he can be shy with the person he likes, and tends to be a little insecure, so probably won’t make a move until he knows he won’t be rejected.
mars - cancer
mars represents a person’s bravery and aggression.
people with this placement can be passive-aggressive and tenacious when annoyed. they don’t like change or confrontation, which can often be the root cause of conflict. he can become defensive when cornered - for example, when neil is trying to get him to join the dead poets society. for pitts, sex needs an emotional connection - he isn’t one for one night stands. he prefers to get to know a person first. at his best, he exudes a protective, almost therapeutic aura. because he tends to dwell, he thrives off of continuity and a good routine. people with these placements are often said to be good chefs.
jupiter - capricorn
jupiter represents a person’s luck, growth and wisdom.
pitts, because of this placement, is a realist, so needs to visualise results in order to feel motivated. because his jupiter is an earth sign, he doesn’t like to take risks and is rarely lured by sketchy schemes. he tends to attract good luck when he is behaving in an ethical manner, and making mature and organised decisions.
saturn - aries
saturn rules communication and discipline.
people with saturn in aries are resourceful. pitts is self-reliant, so probably has trouble opening up or asking for help, which can cause issues in his relationships. he also doesn’t feel comfortable asserting himself, and needs to learn that he isn’t a burden for speaking up when he feels uncomfortable.
uranus - virgo
uranus rules communication and discipline.
people with this placement find issues regarding work life to be of importance. it is possible that, due to this and the rest of his chart, he disagrees with the fundamentals of our working society - he may believe it is too restrictive and exploitative. pitts is impatient when it comes to the mundane working life expected from him, and prefers to work in a more scattered fashion. he has probably spent time innovating new ways to fix these issues, and building a new society in his head that works according to his ideals. however, he’s probably reluctant to share these ideas as he has difficulty trusting himself.
neptune - sagittarius
neptune rules a person’s intuition, spiritual awareness and healing. neptune and pluto are both ruled generationally.
we know by now that people with these placements aren’t one for following the tide. neptune sagittarians are happy to stand out and break rules, but i think this manifests itself slightly differently in pitts. his taurus sun can clash with this placement, as he desires stability and comfort, but feels an overwhelming need for change, especially in welton. he’s similar to todd for this reason, in the fact that they both prefer to take a quieter route of demanding change rather than take the first step outside of that box.
pluto - sagittarius
pluto rules power, transformation and destiny.
these placements find power in art, and for gerard, i think he feels most powerful when creating visual art. whether that be painting or drawing - he has an amazing imagination and can take a scenario he’s thought up and put it onto paper with amazing accuracy. this also gives him the skills needed in making radios, as he does with meeks.
