Last week at the Tokyo Game Show, Bandai Namco released new gameplay screenshots of the highly anticipated JRPG, Tales of Arise.
The screenshots show the main characters Alphen and Shionne and some of the Astral Artes they’re able to use in combat. Additionally, the screenshots tease a mysterious character whom you can only see from the back.
Here’s an overview of Tales of Arise:
Tales of Arise takes place in a solar system containing the two neighboring planets of Dahna and Rena. The inhabitants of Dahna have always paid reverence to their planetary neighbors on Rena – a planet they can clearly see in their sky – as a land of the righteous and divine. For the people of Dahna, legends and lore about Rena and its inhabitants have been handed down for countless generations, and through time, have become facts in their minds that have actually masked a cruel reality for the people of Dahna. For 300 years, the people of Rena have ruled over Dahna, pillaging the planet of its resources and stripping its people of their dignity and freedom.
Tales of Arise is set to release sometime 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Let’s all remember we CAN leave the Hinterlands. 😂
Seriously though, I read a review of DAI where the writer said they were trying the game again and decided to just come back to the Hinterlands and it increased their enjoyment 1000%
If you have played and hate it, you can leave and come back. Bioware was remiss in making that bit clear, that you’re supposed to do that.
Thankfully they acknowledged that in Mass Effect Andromeda and guy actually tells you there’s more to do but you can always come back 😂😂😂
