Numbness - Is 1 of the most common symptoms and can be 1 of the first signs of Multiple Sclerosis. It can affect a hand, arm, foot, leg, face, or body and can be mild or severe, feel like pins and needles or no sensation at all. Numbness can last temporarily or be permanent and there is no medication to treat the condition. From a safety stand point numb feet can make diving and walking difficult. Numbness of the face can create problems eating as a person may not feel they're chewing a cheek or lip. This just a short list of all the problems numbness creates.
