Denver, Colorado. Three Burlington SD-9 locomotives near the Rice Yard, May 20, 1980. Rice Yard and service tracks for Union Station. Mount Evans in the distance. This entire area of lower downtown Denver has been ripped out and redeveloped. These pictures have a bit of haze due to volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount St. Helens. I took these pictures from the top of 1127 Wazee Street.
