Daily Pokémon that was randomly selected: Tyranitar!
Did you know that Tyranitar is powerful enough to change the landscape? This Pokémon is so overwhelmingly powerful that it can bring down a whole mountain to make its nest. In just one of its mighty hands, it has the power to make the ground shake and mountains crumble!
#godd it would suck so bad i already hate certain parts of butai twt #gemitus #idk how tiktok works but the fact that the algorithm can just show random people the videos....... #no thank you 2.5d is a niche it is a safe space #like not to be pretentious but you Have to invest your time into it you cant just Consume #no actually i dont think i hate butai twt i hate anime twt who hears about the butai but is fucking annoying about it #2.5d is a bubble...... theres 100 actors and they play everyone #its such a . yknow. #like maybe it seems cheesy and dumb but everyone takes it super seriously but you can tell the actors love it with all their hearts #and like yeah maybe the concept of 2.5d actors Specifically feeling like their bodies are just a vessel for the spirit of character to inh #abit is a bit weird but. does it not make sense? the character had a life of their own before the actor and will continue to after fhe ac #tor stops playing them. ofc its the character who is 'in control' #therefore its easier to 'lack individuality' so as to better channel the character
shoutout to bad buddy for being about college students and not high school kids, i just think that's neat, i think it's authentic. and shoutout to bad buddy for having lines like "when other people are around, talking to you is like a matter of life and death", and "we're just born this way", and have the context not be homophobia related. and how experiences that the main characters missed out on in high school are being explored now that they have the freedom to try again because they're older. and how they get to be silly. and how there's a big focus on communication, not just with the romantic leads but with the other characters as well, and the differences between how open communication (like with ink) and being closed off (like with wai and their other friends) influences the story. and how whatever i was expecting from this show, it isn't anything like what i've been getting, and every week i love it even more.
#and shoutout to bb for so far not having the main leads develop into gender roles #and shoutout to the fact that all the side characters and minor characters (like tong and junior) feel like #real people with their own lives and not just characters added to push the leads together #and shoutout to the fact that there are no 'shippers' actually in the background #shoutout to how the story and main characters progress naturally on their own #without being pushed by these random ppl with their own agendas #shoutout to the s*xual implications for being taken seriously and not used for joke factors #shoutout to the fact that ive never felt uncomfortable or second hand embarassment while watching this show despite #the amount of tropes that ive seen used loads of times in other 'bl' dramas #shoutout to the actors for knowing and caring so much about their characters and bringing everything they have to the table #and making every one of those tropes seem natural and real and flow so smoothly #which also depends on the writing and directing of course so shoutout to those too #i just#i dunno #this is such a silly show #and it seems like that's all it is at first glance - just something simple and funny #and then it's executed so well in every single way that it becomes so much more if you actually try to think about it #and it's only halfway through but i hope it keeps it up #because i'm really thoroughly enjoying it in a way i just didn't see coming #julian watches bb #and shoutout to that kiss! good god! #the fact that they got to show something more than just pressed lips or a peck on the cheek #it was the most passionate and most REAL kiss i have EVER seen in a drama like this. #and it was exactly what the story and characters were leading to. it felt so right in every way and it made me cry
over 2000 words on my planning document for this fic. having a wonderful time
#personal stuff#delete later #2420 to be exact. nice #it's actually . going great #like i feel like i haven't written anything but. i have in fact written a lot???? just not in order #anyway love seeing 400 words of actual beautiful writing #sandwiched between two almost unintelligible sentences summing up different points of this scene #if there's anything i'm learning from this. it's that forcing myself to write chronologically. can be such a fucking pain #and that sometimes u just need to embrace writing scenes in a random order whenever they come to u #and if that's 3am when ur lying in bed. write that shit on ur phone and copy it over who cares
Do you ever feel really pretty and confident and then that ONE PERSON walks in and you feel like complete shit about yourself? because I do. A lot. And I wish I, along with anyone who relates to this, doesn't have to. Because while I know on some level i am beautiful, most of the time we're all blind to our own self beauty. And to me, THAT is one of the most horrible thing humans can ever possibly experience/ face: not being able to see how gorgeous they are.
hundreds of live channels you can zap through like tv
thousands of shows and movies on demand
very few ads (mostly the "ad" is just a pluto tv id animation with no audio and no annoying, loud ads for shit you don't care about. sometimes it's ads for other stuff available on pluto)
you can screenshot/screen record
if you use VPNs you get acces to thousands of more shows and movies available in other countries
the programme actually includes good content that you really want to watch (esp shows and movies that you might not wanna commit to buying but miss seeing on tv)
the live channels are either a certain genre/category or a 24/7 stream of a single show
in conclusion: use pluto tv, it's the superior streaming service
#personally when I look at the US pluto tv I think wow. this is american television culture #all those shows we barely got here that are so ingrained in american pop culture #and just a shitton of movie classics #also sports but I can't help you there #some cool baseball stuff tho #also documentaries #pluto is underrated af #perhaps the most important of all: a bob ross channel that streams random bob ross episodes 24/7 #I can't explain why a live channel of a show is sometimes more appealing than the fact that I can also on demand stream #german pluto tv has a old german spongebob channel which is just the best #there ARE normal ads but I get them very rarely #maybe it depends on the channels/shows idk
-- the radius of UY Scuti 1700 times larger than that of the Sun’s (bear in mind that it’s the biggest star known to man so far).
-- scientists believe that they have discovered a parallel universe in a void 1 billion light years away; though it’s all hypothetical.
-- the closest dwarf planet to Earth is called Ceres. it is located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, and it is the only dwarf planet in the inner solar system.
-- nearly 4000 exoplanets have been discovered since 2009, but no confirmed discoveries of extrasolar moons.
-- scientists predict that Voyager 1 (a space probe launched in 1977) will reach the inner Oort cloud in 300 years, and take 30,000 to pass through it. currently, Voyager 1 is the farthest and fastest interplanetary space probe, and it is in interstellar space, beyond Pluto and the Kuiper belt.
-- faster-than-light travel could actually be possible in the near future (i’ve got a post on faster-than-light travel, and the science behind it is really cool.)
-- an exoplanet named J1407b has a ring system 200 times larger than that of Saturn’s. they’re so wide that if Saturn’s rings were replaced by J1407b’s rings they’d be visible at night to the naked eye.
-- Io, one of Jupiter’s moons (and my favourite!!) is the most volcanically active body in the solar system.
-- sunsets on Mars are blue! a photograph taken by the Curiosity rover revealed this strange phenomenon.
-- the International Space Station (ISS) is as large as a football field (the largest man-made object sent into outer space), and it can actually be seen from Earth.
-- solar eclipses happen because the Sun is 400 times the size of the moon, but the moon is 400 times closer to the Earth.
-- looking at the Sun can also be considered “stargazing”.
-- outer space is only about 100 km away (62 miles). it’s so close and yet so far...
-- in about 4.5 billion years, the Milky Way galaxy (ours!) is set to collide with the Andromeda galaxy, forming a giant elliptical one.
-- the first ever black hole photographed by the Event Horizon Telescope (ETH) is about 300 million the size of Earth.
-- one of Saturn’s moons named Titan is the only other place in the solar system with an Earth-like cycle of liquid raining from clouds, filling rivers, lakes, and seas, and evaporating back into the sky (extremely similar to Earth’s water cycle). but the said liquid is not water, it is liquid ethane.
-- the centre of the Milky Way smells like rum and tastes like raspberries. (allegedly!)
-- a large percentage of potentially harmful asteroids to Earth are pulled in by Jupiter’s gravity. (Jupiter’s literally our protector. WE NEED A JUPITER APPRECIATION DAY ASAP !!) 〴⋋_⋌〵
-- Buzz Lightyear (yes, the one from Toy Story) has actually been to space. he spent 15 months in the ISS and returned to Earth on September 11, 2009.
#[inbox] #on a more serious note this is because i ... sighs. looks into the distance. #i was/am a gamer and was into maplestory ++ various other mmorpgs in my lifetime and by the stars above those outfits were internalized. #(this is also why i have a lot of ridiculous magic/ability concepts in my mind whenever i get my hands on my muses) #also honestly if you squint really closely i keep falling into the same pattern of clothes i like HJAGGHJ #but to not ramble on and on . it's just! fun? to look at various fashion styles #since i can't really do that for myself (yet)... #in which it's also extremely fun to account for the individual that is wearing the fit for the sake of -> details that make sense ++ #any secret hcs/symbolism and other nonsense that just. yk! after like two years of mocking them, i finally bought myself an alexa 😔 she's pink and i love her. the device name i gave to it is pet wire tap. my phone already spies on me constantly, alexa at least offers something back in exchange for my precious data lmao
#love just saying 'alexa tell me a fun fact' and having my mind blown by the random shit it tells me lmao
All but one of the dwarf names in Tolkien's Middle Earth were borrowed directly from the Dvergatal section of the Norse poem Vǫluspá (Stanzas 9-16).
The one exception is Gimlí, who was named after one of the three possible Norse Pagan afterlives.
Sidenote: It's the afterlife we know least about. Pretty much all we know is that you might be chosen by the Valkyries if you were a great warrior who died well and that the residents of Gimlí are more or less the only survivors of Ragnarök (apart from a handful of gods and goddesses).
