Hmmmm, so I could go for a walk, since I have no lectures today and the weather is lovely. Get some fresh air, enjoy the last sunny days of the Old Wives’ summer.
Or I could stay in the bed for a whole day, loosing all sense of time, and then be sad and disappointed with myself in the evening.
Come on, me, the choice should be obvious!
When we die. We will never see the sunset.
Are ironic that I have an extremely expensive cell phone so as not to have a single notification in days, I don’t have friends bro..
What I Did Today 9/18/20:
The Samples came back from vacation (not the one we just reached in the queue, but the next one). The game got so laggy back in the homeworld that I ran NRaas->Matercontroller->Reset Everything.
Right after the reset, Winston LTW was granted! The one he’s barely halfway to reaching!
Yeek. Gotta figure out how to fix that. Has anyone UNgranted a LTW using a mod (NRaas or otherwie?)
You ever just know you have to reply to an email, so you click to open it, then jump to another tab before it opens so you can just do it in stages? Like, that was step one, but you’re going to need a rest before you actually read it.
I’m gonna regret my whole life and gonna break my own heart…
But you know what this is just fine,
you have to live, experience things
Sometimes in a hard and
You live once
All I know is that I have secrets
Met a MAGNIFICENT ginger Maine Coon today. He chattered to me and even though he clearly was in the mood to hunt something he never once made that thing my hand.
As I was petting him a guy appeared and started telling me that the cat’s name was Ginger and that he technically lived at the house across the road but that he was essentially owned by the whole street at this stage and would spend most mornings asleep on the man I was speaking to’s sofa.
Ginger verified this story (after a moment’s dramatic posing on the pavement - showing off how spectacularly enormous he is) by trotting up to the door of a house that was neither the house of his owners nor the man who’s sofa he sleeps on.
Good cat. Hope to meet him again some day
If you are overstimulating me, whether it be with bright lights or constant noise or loud music or strong smells, there is a 78% increase in the chance I will end up on a war path to destroy you.
Hey hey, if you’re like me and you still haven’t gotten the hang of the don’t-touch-your-face thing, here’s something you can try: chop a habanero pepper and don’t wash your hands afterward!
“Busking!! Boris Johnson is busking at being Prime Minister- he’s gone on a TV talent show thinking he can perform like one of his music heroes but turns out he can’t play or sing properly & only do daft dances to put a smile on a few faces. Worked a bit for a while but nobody’s laughing now”-Lord Toby Harries

I GM'ed for my sister, her husband, and some of their friends back home who always wanted to play but didn’t know anyone. It was my first time GM'ing and their first time playing, so I kept it simple.
They all forgot they had weapons.
I had to keep fudging my rolls to keep them from dying.
Sister: “Hey, wait, I’m like a dragon person. Can I bite them? Or maybe stab them with this sword I have?!?”
Me: “HOLY FUCK, YES!!! Roll to stab!”
Sister: *nat 20*
Me: “You save the whole party including everyone who should technically be dead.”
Male Friend: “Wait… We had weapons?”
Any tips for future sessions?“
You gotta be thankful for your pain ‘cause if love doesn’t hurt you.. it’s not real.
Floods in my town due to a river’s dams breaking should have been on my 2020 disaster bingo card I guess.
We are okay, I slept at my grandma’s and we woke up with water flooding in, up to our ankles, nothing was destroyed luckily but I spent most of the day swooping water out of the house and trying to clean off the mud and dirt from inside. My arms gonna be crying tomorrow. We have no electricity and mobile networks fail… so I’ve gotta save up battery and data, will be back soon I guess but for now know I’ll have to be off.
I think going forward, we all need to start calling out stupid actions and comments. Perhaps if people are forced to confront their own stupidity they will start to grow and mature. By not calling it out as it occurred, we have done ourselves a disservice and now we have to deal with the most cringeworthy shit.
And I am not talking about online. I am talking about IN REAL LIFE. Don’t let people get away with dumb shit just because you don’t want to be bothered or you don’t think it’s worth the effort to correct.
This was my favorite toy when I was a kid. My favorite play was to pretend that I was a witch and I was making potions. Sometimes I used to pour water and a bunch of different plants in there, from the garden, and let it macerate for days, just to check it every so often to see if it had changed in the slightest. Other times I used to only put fragant flowers to see if I could create a perfume. Most of the time I’d find mosquito larvae had started to hatch in the smelly water.
