Both teams looking to bounce back after OT losses.
Who’s getting the W tonight?
Only the Beard can drop 50 and still have a rough night.
WHAT A GAME.
The Spurs take down the Rockets in double-OT thanks to Lonnie Walker IV’s breakout performance.
Here are my plays for the NBA
Detroit Pistons Vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Pistons have started to piece it together and are playing better as of late. They have yet to put together a winning streak this year and visiting a struggling Cavs team might be what they need to do it. I also expect for this game to go under. Cavs definitely don’t have a overwhelming offense and I expect this game to have plenty of dry streaks.

Orlando Magic Vs. Washington Wizards
The Orlando Magic are a well coached team with a lot of players who fit well together. The Wizards are a team that doesn’t play defense and relies on their high scoring to win games. I feel as if the Magic can put together a good game plan to slow the Wizards down and play enough defense to sidetrack Washingtons pace. There is also great value in picking Orlando as an underdog because they will have a good chance to win this game.
ML Magic +115 Under 227.5
Dallas Mavericks Vs. New Orleans Pelicans
Coming off of a win against the Lakers, I think the Mavericks might have a little bit of a let down as they face the Pelicans. The Pelicans play a fast paced game and I think the Mavericks will be forced to play their style and because of this I’m taking the over. I’m staying away from a winner because the Pelicans playing their style means anyone can win since there is not a lot of defense getting played.
Miami Heat Vs. Toronto Raptors
This is going to be one of the more competitive games on tonights slate. When games are going to be competitive I tend to go with the over if both teams are able to score the basketball. The Raptors have a well-oiled machine for an offense and the Miami Heat will have to keep up. If i had to pick I would lean towards the Raptors moneyline.
ML Raptors -190 Over 212.5
Houston Rockets Vs. San Antonio Spurs
The Spurs have been playing horrible basketball and horrible defense. They have the ability to score but its not enough for them to win games. Houston continues to lean on their star James Harden and Russell Westbrook playing the sidekick will be too much for the Spurs to win unless Pop inspires some greatness which he is none to do but i don’t see if happening in this game.

Incredibly passionate and talented Harry Byers from @theohiostateuniversity does a quick demo of their rocket based gyroscope device they use to study the behavior of their rockets in flight.
Amazing job and a great inspiration to our kids.

The Houston Rockets exploded against the Atlanta Hawks. They had their offense rolling against the weary and shorthanded Hawks [who were playing the second game of their back-to-back with a nine-game losing streak].
The Rockets had scored too easily for most of the first half on Saturday for there to be any doubt about how things would end long before the Rockets built a 58-point lead and cruised in for a 158-111 romp.
The Rockets were without Clint Capela and Danuel House Jr. who were out with illnesses. But Ben McLemore continued to produce as a starter, getting a season-high 24 points and adding a career-high 13 rebounds while Russell Westbrook had 15 points with eight rebounds and eight assists in just 27 minutes.
James Harden scored consistently in the first half, then took off in the third quarter. When he was through, Harden scored 29 third-quarter points, calling it a night before the fourth quarter began with 60 points on just 24 shots, sinking 8 of his 14 3s.
James Harden has his 4th career 60-point game, tying Michael Jordan for 3rd-most in NBA history.
Harden also became the 3rd player in the last 25 seasons to score 60 points through 3 quarters, joining Klay Thompson vs Pacers on Dec. 5, 2016, and Kobe Bryant vs Mavericks on Dec. 20, 2005.
Harden scored his 50th point with 5:44 left in the 3rd tonight. He is the second-fastest in the last 20 seasons to reach 50 points in a game. On Dec. 5, 2016, Klay Thompson scored his 50th point with 6:40 left in the 3rd.
Harden attempted only 24 field goals. Harden’s 24 FG attempts mark the lowest number of FG attempts in a 60-point performance in NBA History (previous lowest was Karl Malone’s 61 points on 26 FG attempts in January 1990). [via NBA Stats]
