47Batwoman 2x02 spoilers
Tonight’s episode of Batwoman was seriously incredible! I loved the interactions between Ryan and the main cast and seeing the associations between her and some of them, especially Kate’s as they were all very well-written and handled greatly.
I know there are various viewpoints on Season 1 as a whole and some of the things about Ruby Rose’s acting as Kate Kane but I thought it was good enough, so I’m glad to see Javicia upping the scale as Ryan :)
I hope we get a good resolution to Kate’s disappearance, good or bad, that wraps up any loose ends. Especially for Sophie’s sake~
My favorite scenes in this episode were definitely getting to see Ryan in action when she went up against Alice for the first time, as well as how she conducts herself in her everyday life struggles without the suit. I find her to be really relatable so I feel more connected to her character as a whole overall. The fight scenes were also pretty remarkable.
I always used to look forward to seeing Kate put on the suit in a new episode, and thankfully, that very same feeling hasn’t changed one bit with Ryan.
I also love how Mary and she are already like besties and am excited about some Ryan/Luke bonding in the near future, as Luke will need to adapt to the new Bat-lady in time.
In other news, I can’t wait to see the new Batwoman wig because it seriously looks amazing~! Keep it up Javicia!! (^V^)

Plot: Summer Rose is the sole survivor of a towing crew that was sent to investigate a distress beacon from LV-426, an Atlesian colony in the Solitas tundra. She claims that her team was destroyed by a “grim-looking” monster but, with no evidence to back her statements, she’s turned away by her employers while another group is allowed to establish a settlement in the same area.
When all contact to the new colony is lost, Summer is brought back to help in the investigation. This time, with a team of Atlesian marines, Summer returns to the source of her nightmares to hopefully put an end to them once and for all.
However, there was only one Grimm the first time. Unbeknownst to Summer and the marines…they’re walking right into the nest…

I has s theory on the context
So I think its fairly likely that right here in this moment Ironwood was going to set off the bomb Winter and the ACE-OPS were planting, possibly doing so early
But he appears to be hesitating
My guess is because someone just broke into the office
Now Qrow is likely, but I both don’t think its him and want it to be someone else
Ruby
Others have said this before, and explained it better and more clearly than I am about to, but basically the gist of it is every time a character focuses on someone as their “rival” it usually ends up one sided and ignoring the true rival
Salem focuses on Ozpin/Oscar when she should be paying more attention to Ruby
Cinder focuses on Ruby and Penny and ignores team JNR
Hazel focuses on Ozpin and ignores Oscar
So in turn Qrow’s focus on Ironwood is misplaced and along with that, Ironwood’s hyperfocus on Salem as his arch enemy and seeing the conflict between him and Salem as personal,
And in doing so,like Salem, he forgets Ruby
Thus I think the screenshot above is Ruby rushing in to stop Ironwood
And possibly/hopefully breaking out in a fight, because Ruby can go hardcore in a fight if she wants to (just ask Tyrian), and Ironwood happens to have mechanical limbs Ruby and hack off without gravely injuring Ironwood
13Ice cream sundae headcanon:
In the group Neo, Ruby, Weiss and Oscar are the smallest people in the group well besides Nora, so they decided to make a pack with each other and called it ice cream sundae. But the more they send time with each other. They grew to like each other even more and that like turn into love. Especially when they had to sleep together in one bed. Given their small size they fit perfectly well more of them cuddling each other for them to fit and to warm up.
