seems like the worst stuff is moving to the US. poor people. i wonder how they are going to survive through this…
our “non-working week” will be extended. i heard the rumours. regions don’t want to say “quarantine” and “emergency”. i get angrier. we NEED these words right now. and we NEED these masks and other things they all keep sending abroad but we don’t see them in our hospitals. it’s wonderful that we help others but… local citizens do also exist. nothing changes in this country.
i start worrying about my mom more and more every day bc she starts working on monday. considering the current situation, it’s extremely hard to be a medical worker now. their hospital’s sphere is not lung diseases but it will be so if something happens. and they have… problems. like having only one working x-ray machine instead of two (for patients and for newly arrived). so they will have to deal with “pneumonia” cases along with those who may not have it
yet.and this is a huge risk for both nurses and patients (and not all of them are young people). the existing lack of masks and gloves, underpayments and so on…don’t make me think.
i already started asking people for simple recipes in case i’ll have to take care of the household (i can’t cook). i will need to learn how to use washing machine properly. at least i’m not bad at ironing, and cleaning the rooms is not a big deal even though it takes a lot of energy. collecting useful tips calms me down a bit bc i start thinking that we’ll be fine no matter what. we’ll be fine.
we all will be fine.
