*Lunch with the only one*

Today I was really struggling… I need to prepare myself for an important exam, but I can’t concentrate (think it’s the lack of food). I didn’t want to break my calorie limit though. Losing weight would be so easy, if I just could isolate myself for 3 months and had no responsibilities to care about.
I’m still proud that I had no binges so far … but let’s see what happens when the exam gets closer - stress is a killer for my self control.
Breakfast was a self made strawberry yogurt with oats (323cal). For lunch I had some peas with baby carrots (281cal). I snacked on a small apple (83cal) and some nuts and dried berries (191cal). Dinner was a tomato salad (90cal). (Total = 968)

For dinner I just made a Greek salad, well kind of, (lettuce, cucumber,tomatoes,black olives, carrots,feta cheese) and added a piece of baked squash and a little bit of fish.
Topped it off with balsamic vinegar.

1 x piece of bacon (fat & rind removed, patted dry to remove grease),
2 x celery sticks,
½ cup alfalfa sprouts,
1 x small tomato from my garden,
1 tsp crumbled parmesan,
1 tsp lemon juice.
So good and just under 250cals. 🥰
Another lovely home-cooked meal! My significant other made this on Valentine’s Day for us. Excellent cheeseburgers with habanero jalapeño Colby-Jack cheese on top of and in the center of the patty and served on toasted onion buns. Homemade steak-cut oven fries. A wonderful salad. A lovely night.
Later there was a German-chocolate brownie and some wine too, but I wasn’t really in the mood to take pictures at that point. ;)
I was coming off a weekend of heavy foods, so my body was craving all vegetables. Green salad with edamame, honeyed sweet potato, and steamed carrots with butter.
I only ate the pasta and the salad. I’ll save the tomatoes and pineapple for a snack later, or for tomorrow.
