Hi guys! In case you didn’t know, this week, February 22 to February 28th was Eating Disorder Awareness Week!
This is something I’ve struggled with for a long time but never really named. I’m still working on making myself eat three meals a day and it’s hard sometimes but I’m trying my best! I’ve finally gained enough weight that you can’t straight up see my ribs when i wear a crop top and I’m so proud of myself.
I hope anyone else struggling with this knows that you are not alone and that also you don’t have to be better instantly! It can take years and as long as you are working on yourself and doing as best as you can, that’s okay. 🧚🏼♀️💖🧿🦋🌿🌝⚡️✨🌟💫🪐
Please kill the part of you that believes that your happiness is dependant on another person or another thing, that your dreams won’t come true, that you will never be enough, that you don’t deserve love. There is a power deep inside you that can rise above all of these beliefs. Find it. Nurture it.

What this Pandemic Taught Me is that you literally don’t need anyone but yourself. 🧿🦋🌿⚡️
It was hard for me at first, because I’m an extrovert and used to rely on other people for that energy and happiness. But learning how to be happy just being by yourself and doing your own thing is a great skill that everyone should learn. 💖🦋💫✨🧚🏼♀️
food and rest isn’t earned. please stop beating yourself up and overworking yourself so that you feel you ‘deserve’ to eat or rest. it’s a basic necessity, you don’t need an excuse to do it. if you wake up late, or don’t do anything, guess what ? you still deserve to rest. if you slip up on your healthy eating and eat something unhealthy, guess what? you still deserve to eat. please take care of your basic needs.
you might have this idea in your head of who you want to be– someone calmer with a different hairstyle and a better posture, fuller eyebrows and a smile with less teeth, lengthy eyelashes and long fingers for playing the piano. you might have spent your entire life kind of waiting for them to find you, for a rebirth of some kind. you might have secretly hoped to die young so you can awake as anyone else.
it takes time to change that idea, and even then it’s okay if you can’t bring yourself to love every detail, blemish and flaw, but one thing to know about yourself is that in some hard-to-imagine way, in a hidden manner, you are exactly who you’re supposed to be, and what you look like or what you wish to change about yourself won’t make you less of a person or any less worthy of good things.
whether you love yourself or not, whether you want to be who you are right now or not and whether you believe yourself to be good enough or not: who you are right now is just as good as who you’d be as that person in your mind.
