@sempiiterniity - liked for a starter
It was the day before the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament. The rain was coming down in sheets, so he was really glad to have an umbrella as protection from the rain. He still had a ways to go before he reached the tournament grounds.
Training had been tough, but afterwards the little time he had between Kami’s training and the tournament had allowed him to walk around the world to explore even more than what he had seen as a child. So it was safe to say he’d enjoyed himself thoroughly. Even now, he took his time getting to the world tournament stage. He had time. Lots of time. Hours at best. For once, he didn’t think he’d be running late.
A sudden, familiar energy signature made him freeze his steps on the sidewalk and narrow his eyes, glancing around to try to locate the source. Familiar but yet he couldn’t quite pin down why. Like some memory from his childhood. At the thought, he frowned, thinking of that time in the woods when he’d been ambushed. Well, at least he didn’t have his tail anymore, but if those guys were back, they wouldn’t be prepared for how much he had grown. Those night terrors of being weak and helpless hadn’t ever stopped, though they only came a few times a year at most.
Deciding to see if that energy source was indeed tracking or following him, Goku found a nearby small restaurant stop to slip into. Once inside, he stood by the door, hanging against the wall to the side, putting his umbrella up and shaking the water. Now. Time to wait and see if the owner of that strange-for-a-reason-he-couldn’t-place ki signature followed him in.
// that’s not good for your computer.. :(
// I knooooooow ack D: Well - my husband set it up to do that thing so if it gets fried or something he gets to fix it too ((but seriously it was raining a little heavy today but no wind or anything strong enough to knock power out and it just like, flickered so many times…in a row…i’ve never seen that o.o))
