/sobs/ I love tHEM SO MUCH 😭😭😭
1) Showing Shuri's maturity and growth as a young woman
2) Illustrating Shuri's leadership and her vision for Wakanda
3) Allowing Shuri to find inspiration in T'Challa's example, but also giving her the opportunity to forge her own path
4) Showcasing Shuri's journey to becoming a warrior
Thinking about MCU phase 4. Multiverse. Truly madness. My brain explodes just trying to process Loki season finale (what is this, the Architect of the Matrix??? enough with this brainsplosions)
Variants 😮 maybe they could get Michael B Jordan to play black panther ..................???????
I really wish Marvel would stop killing their villains in their debut appearances and I wish they'd offer the villains more character and personality than they're often offered.
I mean Loki was been around as long as the main avengers and people loved him so much they brought him back like 5 times, gave him 2 redemption arcs and a solo show
other villains deserve the same chance Loki got, not all of them deserve redemption but just to see villains come back to antagonize the heroes in a different way
but some villains like Erik Killmonger i feel offers himself the best opportunity at redemption (for lack of a better word since he had a valid point) he could learn that strictly militaristic viewpoints only go so far and he has to expand beyond that outlook and with Chadwick's passing the Black Panther should still live on and it would be different and cathartic to watch the main antagonist evolve and grow and become the hero he once fought against. I mean if kylo ren, and loki, and bucky all get redemption after what they've done shouldn't that and wouldn't that courtesy be extended towards Killmonger?
Harley: hewwo! I will be youw suwgeon today! Intewnal bweeding you say? Let’s make ouw fiwst wittle incision.

The moment you get deceived by the smile
The training in Coerthas was nothing new. The Elezen youth burned with vengeance toward Nidhogg and his brood and aimed to use his lance to exact such revenge.
Estinien heeded Alberic’s teachings well. He was a fast study and he knew--he knew his current mentor and foster father fretted at the youth being lost to vengeance. Yet surely he must understand; Nidhogg had taken his home and family from him. His heart will not know peace until Nidhogg was vanquished.
Out in frosty plains of Coerthas, not too far from where he and Alberic made their camp for the session, Estinien practiced his aiming with small game. Korkuls, small birds, a stray wolf here and there, were no match for his lance once he launched it, building up his strength bit by bit.
Out of the corner of his eyes, Estinien witnessed a blur weaving through the trees. It seemed far too large to be an animal and too small to be an adult. Curiosity besting him, the Elezen youth ran, snow crunching beneath his boots. The blur continued to weave through the brittle trees and brush, with Estinien gaining on its heels. He was wandering too far, far from the camp, but he couldn’t stop his curiosity.
Breaking through the brush to one of the rare clearings in Coerthas, steel blue eyes widening just slightly at the sight of another child, much more petite and diminutive compared to his twelve years. Snow-white hair tied in a strange style, unlike the normal ways he’s seen in Coerthas; the attire was also different, foreign, and with the lack of additional layers, cloaks, or even sleeves, Estinien wondered if this child could even feel how chilled it was.
Upon further inspection, Estinien could see the lashing of a tail, slender, much like lizard. Much like a...
Estinien forced himself to sound strong. “Who are you? Are you in league with the Dravanians?”
The child before him jerked, startled no doubt, before turning--and Estinien’s eyes only widened as his thin fingers gripped at his lance.
By the delicate structure of the face, it was a girl. She was tensed, her gaze clashing with his and introducing the boy to the most intense odd eyes he’d ever seen. Her own eyes were wide, full-lashed like the dolls he’d seen the snobbish heiresses in Ishgard hold whenever he and Alberic returned to it. Her scales were also strange; they were like petals on her cheeks and arms, compared to the horns where ears would be and the tail that curled around her hip much like any frightened creature.
Taking a breath and a step forward, the snow crunching louder beneath his feet, Estinien aimed the point of his spear toward the suspicious girl. “Answer me. Are you Dravanian?” he demanded, his voice louder and echoing through the snowy plains.
The girl moved faster than he could blink; her hands snapped out, one grabbing just shy of the spear’s point, the other grasping the middle just above Estinien’s own hand. With speed he’d yet to even master, the girl jerked the spear from his hands and her knee connected with his stomach hard, knocking the wind out of him and sent him spiraling back into the snow.
The point of the spear was aimed right between his eyes before he could even get himself up. He was looking up at this strange girl, who managed to disarm him and knock him on his arse; who was gazing down at him, panting, her brows drawn and small fangs bared.
The girl growled in an unknown tongue, angling the spear up just so she could snap it clean in half against her knee. She tossed the remnants into the snow, backing away before spinning around to flee, to put as much distance between them while the youth sprawled at her feet tried to regain his bearings.
Twenty years later, having secured his position as the Azure Dragoon, Estinien Wrymblood came face-to-face with the esteemed Warrior of Light. Aymeric had spoke highly of the woman, even mentioning how she was from a nation far from Eorzea.
She was smaller, delicate compared to him and his first instinct was to sneer. There was no possibility in Halone’s halls that this woman was the Warrior of Light; she looked as though she abhorred the very idea of violence.
Until she gazed at him. The dragoon found himself face-to-face with the same eyes of his youth, one ones that burned at him after successfully disarming him and fleeing from sight. Yet there was no way...
Impossible. She cannot be the same person.
“Estinien Wyrmblood. Lord de Borel spoke of you often.” The woman, with the strange scale patterns, horns, and tail that was very familiar, spoke in a soft, dulcet tone. She pressed a closed hand against the palm of the open one, bowing by way of greeting. “My name is Shuri. A pleasure to make your acquaintance.”
When she raised her head to smile at him, Estinien could scarcely muster a doubt.
How many people had he met in his life with the same odd eyes?
siren of ice
Shuri: What did you say the other night about moth man?
Peter: You’ll have to be far more specific.
Peter: Dr. Strange What state do you live in?
Stephen: Constant despair
Tony: Why did I just here you come in? It’s past midnight.
Harley: I was collecting Pokémon in our backyard.
Tony: I would probably be less disappointed if you had just said you were partying or selling drugs.

❝ Tell me how you feel. ❞ (wednesday to shuri) @prcphesieslie
Shuri rolled her eyes at the deadpan snark from the other woman, used to her assistant's dry way of speaking. "Oh come on, it's not like you listen to me complain about the bureaucracy of the university anyway." Sometimes, Shuri just liked to vent, but she didn't actually expect Wednesday to listen to her. When it was important, she always made a point of being serious, not dramatic.
And she was definitely being dramatic now. "It is one thing when you ignore my complaints, but when old white men do it, I want to challenge them to a fight, but it would prove them right about me."
