I scaled the power snatches and did 55lbs instead of 95. Today’s WOD was a good body burn and I’m glad I went. I skipped out on my evening run because I just didn’t feel like running anymore today. Haha.

Tomorrow is the day that I get to weigh myself after staying away from the scale for 2 weeks. 😬 I definitely feel like I have shrunk some in the past couple weeks. Regardless of what that number is, I feel great. I am liking my progress! My husband sees me everyday and even he says that he notices a difference and not to worry about what the scale says because what I’m doing is working. Soooo we shall see!

On a random food note, I stopped eating yogurt a little over a week ago and I decided that I’m going to go back to not eating dairy eventhough I love dairy. My stomach reacts just fine to it, but I think my body loses my unnecessary weight faster without it. The only exception will be having a Halo Top pint on my wedding anniversary coming up on the 11th. Woohoo! You bet I’m looking forward to that treat. 😛

I weighed myself this morning after CrossFit and my coach saw me doing that and asked why. I was all frustrated because I only lost ONE pound since August 1st. We finally had a conversation about what I was doing and I think that was the big mental push that I needed. He said that it takes at least 21 days for something to become a habit and changes aren’t immediate. Now that he is aware of my intermittent fasting and what my weight is, I am determined to be totally on top of tracking what I eat and making it within my allowed 1,200 calories per day. I think that’s what my problem was…not tracking everything I ate during my eating window. I haven’t been eating unhealthy by any means, just probably a little too much. My coach also said that I weigh myself too often and to not worry about the scale. He said that the next time I should weigh myself should be next Friday. Soooooo, I just need to continue doing what I’m doing and we shall see what that number is in about two weeks.

That’s what we did this morning. 🤪 It was light, but so many reps and jumps. I scaled it by doing 60 single unders and 35lbs instead of 55lbs. I definitely still got my sweat on.

I meal prepped my dinner for the next 5 days today and made spicy shoyu chicken breast with broccoli, onions, and brown rice. It’s delicious, filling, and under 500 calories, so I’m satisfied!

Thankfully, our coach let us finish the workout even past the 25 minute time cap. I scaled the workout by using a 20lb dumbbell for the power snatches and a 15lb dumbbell for the box step-ups. It was one of those fire breather workouts, but of course it was totally worth it. 💪🏽
