A reminder that what you’re given in life is not always what you deserve, so if you’ve been handed a bad hand, like if you’ve struggled with poverty or been abused or mistreated or discriminated against, or have worked crappy jobs that pay less than your friends make or have an uncaring or hurtful family– please don’t internalise those things as correlating to your worth. What you’ve been given in life does not always correlate to what you deserve to have been given and remembering that can sometimes remind us of our real value.

💠reminder to do things freely. yes it’s important to implement healthy and productive habits into your life, but remember that every day is different. that workout yesterday fitted nicely into your lunch break but maybe today you’re busy doing something else in that time. two weeks ago you were in total flow while doing work stuff so that meditation had to be at night. and that other day you were utterly sad and just couldn’t meditate so you just needed to settle for laying on your bed listening to your favorite song. and you know what? that’s ok!! you usually clean your room every sunday but on that day you will be busy somewhere else?? so let saturday be the cleaning day! last month bullet journaling was totally your thing but now digital planning has caught your eye? go for it! guess what: you can even do both!! and believe me; as someone that LOVES structure and all of that capricorn shit i know how hard it can be to let go and i permanently catch myself being stuck in wanting to have strict routines, but doing whatever is best in that moment while not forgetting doing things that contribute to your wellbeing right now will change your quality of life. don’t wait until that day to eat that meal you’ve been craving. meditate in a very different environment than you normally would be in. dance to this new song for 10 mins straight instead of working out. do whatever floats your boat in that moment.
