Weve got a lot of love for Stoats, Weasels more so. A fantastic hunter and a playful and curious creature.
They are fairly large compared to a Weasel and yet still often confused, the most obvious difference is during the winter months some Stoats turn white, especially up in Scotland! But during the summer months the best way to tell the difference is to check out the tail.
Stoats have a long tail, so long in fact it can be half its body length! Its bushy and has a black tip. Weasels on the other hand have a shorter, blunter tail matching the rest of the body colour.

sorting fictional characters vol. 8: Ryan Sinclair
House: Gryffindor. No surprises here, he's brave and kind, but not always immediately thoughtful.
Wand: Aspen. given his willingness, at first, to attack any enemy this makes total sense.
Patronus: Stoat, which I believe is also called a short tailed weasel. ryan is definitely a bit sneaky, especially with all his lying to his friends about where he goes.
Is Mun-day still a thing? Here is my current look.

little stoat sketch study, ref under the cut
[id: a digital drawing of a pink stoat standing in blue grass, done in a pencil brush. the stoat is seen from the side with its face turned towards the camera, looking curious. the stoat has a medium pink body with a light pink belly, and darker purple eyes, nose, and tip of the tail. the grass is various shades of blue-green. the artist's signature, wintrecat, is written on the stoat's back. the background is solid gray-blue. end id]
[id: a photograph of a brown stoat with a white belly standing in some grass. it's in the same pose as the drawing, with its body viewed from the side and its head facing the camera. end id]
Doing some reconstruction to pull myself out from under my lovely little rock. Going to mostly be doing that. But if you feel like chatting, you know where to find me. All five of you.
I started playing Minecraft again and watching Minecraft videos (leave me alone) so I thought it would be fun to see how Wind in the Willows characters would play, so enjoy!
Mole- Mole only plays in creative mode, he has a mushroom house and a mooshroom farm.
Toad- He's desperately running around in survival, he has no weapons and no armor but he's trying to fight the Ender Dragón.
Ratty- He's actually playing, he has a nice little house on the river. and he's more just wandering around than trying to beat the game but he'll get there.
Portia- She similar to Toad in energy but is much more successful. She is currently living in the Nether, and no one can make her move out.
Lesser- Lesser likes to build in creative mode with Mole. They have built many intricate house together Chief and Cheryl are very impressed with his talent
Lionel is Jeanne’s clumsy assistant. He works in her fashion house dreaming of becoming a fashion designer on his own. Unfortunately, Jeanne tends not to notice his talent and devalue him without wanting it. He is always very nervous, has a very fast speech that makes him stammer often, lives on coffee and is very apprehensive and provident. So much so that he always has a mini first aid kit with him.
