Possible final image for street style
The first person i approached was holding a vintage lamp. Speaking to them i found out they had a baby doll head that had been turned into a plant! They had collected a bag filled with fabric form a woman off craigslist. They were super friendly and really helped me get over the fear. i do wish i could have got a different background but they were so confident posing like the statue of liberty for me
The next people i asked were definitely shy but they did great! i wanted to shoot them together as a group shoot and separately.
From talking to them i found out that one was currently studying and one had graduated in fashion. Directing the first girl was a tad more difficult as she seemed uncomfortable in front of the camera, i did my best to talk to her and help her feel more at ease. The second girl seemed a lot more comfortable taking directions and posing which was great.
The last woman was sitting on a bench knitting and had amazing blue hair, I only took a few pictures of her. I complimented her hair and she told me she had a condition that made her hair turn grey when she was 16 and she’s been dying her hair bright colours.
First time shooting street style!
this was a very nerve wracking experience but was super fun. it has given me loads of confidence to approach and talk to people
