THIS IS MY CONCEPT SKETCHBOOK PROFESSOR??
Wanna know how many airports I’ve been to in less than 3 weeks?
Probably not but I’m going to tell you anyway: 5.
And how many cancellations I’ve experienced in the same amount of time?
One was not too bad, I got moved to a flight two hours earlier and arrived safely back in the US from London.
The second one bumped me to a flight 2 hours later, again, I arrived safely in Orlando.
It is numbers 3 and 4 that are screwing me over.
Number 3: Cancelled as we arrived at the airport. Should’ve stayed at Disney. Spent the night in the Orlando Airport.
Number 4: Cancelled as the plane was boarding. Again spending the night in the Orlando Airport... trying to find our luggage. And praying to the airplane gods that our flight tomorrow morning isn’t again cancelled. Because if not, I think my father is driving from Orlando to Rochester. I was supposed to move into my new flat today. My little brother was supposed to go back to uni today too.
And guess what?
We’re stuck in Orlando along with half of the city of Rochester for an unexplained reason. Our airline hasn’t told us why our flights have been repeatedly cancelled because every person we talk to, gives us a different reason.
So friends, please, if you are going to be traveling, get trip insurance, follow the covid protocols, wear your mask, and remember that the FAA does not cancel flights, your airline does!*
*(according to the FAA government website but our airline said the ‘government cancelled your flight for some reason. We don’t know why’)
moving out tomorrow

What Dealing With A Difficult Landlord Has Taught Me
As some of you may know that I spent 2 years (supposedly 3 years but…pandemic) in the UK and more specifically Brighton. This blog post is just based on my experience and lessons (expensive ones) that I’ve learned. If you’re a new reader, I was in Brighton, UK for studies since 2018. Please do not take my advices too seriously and seek professional help and advices if you’re looking to rent a…

So, just put in a request to go see a flat. Hopefully they'll call me tomorrow. It's pretty basic tbh, but its all bills included and it's near Cardiff Bay, which I would love to live near! Trying not to get my hopes up, but I'm hoping I hear something. After all, I've only got until 17/09 to find somewhere
7 Aug 2021 // After the emotional effort that is putting myself in the mood to play stuff like Raindrop Prelude, I decided to play something that feels lighter, in this case, Chopin's Nocturne Op 9 No 2 (my very first nocturne! and luckily since it's the most famous one, there's a bound to be more tips/tricks for tricky sections around online 👌). Although the melody is relatively easy to read and memorize, I'm finding the left hand to be...a totally different story XD 'Cause I can't seem to anticipate the next harmony that's coming next, I'm finding it soooo sloooowwww to read through and remember the patterns... Maybe I should just read all the left hand stuff alone for the first page before trying to see how it sounds with the melody, just to familiarize myself with how it physically feels (the chords' shapes, the jumps) before putting both hands together...Idk. But this is a sign I should probably learn more about music theory/harmonies and practice sight reading, the two things that tend to fall to the wayside in my studies because of just...the initial resistance to getting started 😅 So if anyone has any tips or ideas for where to start with intermediate-advanced music theory/harmonies, please let me know, thank you, because I haven't ever touched on that stuff at all. x
just some journaling for today 💚 ☕💫
Hey so I colored that Spider-man day illustration from last week. I always love being able to do these kinds of pics where I get to feel like i’m working at 60′s marvel. Fun stuff.
