one of my friends just started watching succession and on season 1 episode 2 or something she was like “does roman ever find a relationship that fulfills him?”
uh, sort of
me getting mad at seeing spoilers for things I'm vaguely interested in but have no intentions of watching or reading
My little shipper heart is crying tears of joy
Can I just mention real quick the POTENTIAL the writers have in front of them to flip the romantic script for season 4?
This whole time we've had Fanson together in a beautiful relationship while the epic build-up of Nace worked itself out, but now moving forward - if they play their cards right - they've given themselves an AMAZING setup to reverse that formula in season 4. We could have a happy, healthy established Nancy/Ace relationship while Nick/George are the ones with a serving of angst. Only in this case, it's about growing independently while still loving the other person. It's about experiencing life on your own and patiently waiting until it's the right time to find each other again.
If Logan didn’t care for his children, on some level, this show would be boring.
heavy with the weight of missing you, my dear. [3x11]
ok but tom/greg climbing their way up the waystar ladder, both outsiders learning to adapt in order to stay in the game, coming up with their own means of survival, figuring out how to be killers, how to get ahead because their “lives” depend on it, they literally HAVE to win if they want to stick around, while the three roy siblings flounder and make dumb attempts to kill their dad and have no idea how to build anything of their own....... poetry.
me during the end of season 3.
how we feeling today kallen nation
ok so here’s my thing that definitely wasn’t kieran culkin’s real dick. couldn’t have been don’t believe it but if it was kendall i would be sitting here without a doubt in my mind that i had seen jeremy strong’s meat
Elayne is having entirely too much fun going undercover as one of the Forsaken
idk I feel like a less fun family movie would’ve made moon all about his ego, or say he’s TOO sneaky or selfish, doing it for the wrong reasons, etc. but his stories are just about someone who is passionate, but dealing with discouragement and facing challenges that could make him disillusioned. he's a good manager. he wants to lift up his crew or theater, but not necessarily for his own face and glory. catch him cheering backstage. he HAS manipulative and selfish qualities but he also loves his craft. he naturally embraces collaboration and celebrating others’ gifts as what makes art/theater great, so he lifts people up as part of chasing his own dream. he's just wonderful.
Waiting for each episode to air for S3 Succ was like an insane event.
CANNOT look away from the tom/shiv disaster

kendall breaking down at his birthday party + mitski, first love / late spring
no because that tomgreg handshake alongside tom calling greg sporus in italy…in roman marriage there were two types: cum manu (with hand) and sine manu (without hand) and cum manu meant that the wife was placed under legal control of her husband while sine manu meant the wife remained under control of her father. so by taking tom’s literal hand greg has symbolically removed himself from the control of his family and “married” himself to tom instead
