Hello to the people who follow me for sunny content! I have been a fan of this show for around 3 years and I’ve had this blog for 2. With the recent posts and comments made by Rob and Kaitlin I don’t know how I can keep running a sunny based blog without feeling disgusting. I’ve forgiven them for so much in the past, so I feel as tho I have the right to be upset. They consistently refuse to change and grow when it comes to racism and I do not stand for it. They are on the wrong side of history. I might still post about sunny separate from them and more just character based stuff here and there, but I hope you can understand the shift in content :)

At first I wanted to continue working on my Undertale comic, but for some reason these two snuck into my brain and refused to leave.
Maybe I should stop playing Animal Crossing, these two are living on my island, after all…
Sunny needs to get her ass CHECKED
Such a beautiful day to be out in my element ☀️🌿
Have you ever had one of those irresistible moments where you just felt the elements calling for you to join them? I just had to be outside. I sat in the grass and soaked in the sun, let the wind whip through my hair, and felt the dewy grass and dirt beneath me. I even took a crystal out to be grounded in the soil, and it was just a beautiful, much needed experience ❤️
I am so glad Dianna was the only queen I did stand for real.
I follow Dianna since ever, Lea I wasn’t even following her that much. *shrugs* You know, if she changed and stuff, but she would never change. I am surprised it took so long for someone to call her out, tho.

02/06/2020-Flowers on the balcony, Lakeside walks and tree out the back
I took the first three pictures in this photoset of more lovely flowers on the balcony in the sun. I then did a lunch time walk a more general route over Lakeside having a quick look at the lakes and then a quick look at the little meadow areas too. It was rather the walk I would have done last Friday lunch time, a day of the week I had got into the habit of doing general Lakeside walks but I decided I wanted to focus on the grasslands for butterflies last Friday. So today it was an ambitious for the half hour to forty five minutes I tend to aim to walk for and athletic walk into the north western entrance from the roads, around the lakes, down to the visitor centre, along and over the railway track and through the new little path through trees I have discovered and into the area I nickname Marbled White meadow. I took the fourth picture in this photoset of a Collared Dove on a street light on the way to Lakeside and fifth of a lovely Blue-tailed Damselfly in a nice boggy pool area by a reedbed where I saw loads of dragon and damselflies the other week.
With the weather probably changing tomorrow, showers which are needed for the land actually likely and certainly a fall in temperature I found myself making the most of the hot and sunny weather this lunch time. I had rather exhausted my subject base for photographing landscapes in the sun with the lakes glistening here lately, which is interesting in itself as it allows me to really appreciate the views and their beauty with my eyes within my hour away from the screen working. But today I just yearned to capture a view here in this brilliant weather once more and I did take the sixth in this photoset which I was happy to take. I then walked round towards the centre and took the seventh picture in this photoset of some lovely flowers there. When round at the meadow area it was nice among other things to see a beautiful Small Tortoiseshell butterfly one of my favourites flying around. A nice throwback to early days of my butterfly season in week 1 of lockdown seeing and photographing this species locally my first of the year. It like has so often happened on my walks during lockdown became a case today of seeing a lot of the species again I had done well the last few days some of the stars of the past few days.
With my photo yield looking slightly lower throughout the day today I took advantage of not having to get straight on with the processing at 5pm and enjoyed this beautiful sunny and hot weather once more and took a second walk to Lakeside. I went solely to check the Marbled White meadow area as I had heard of people seeing these butterflies this year the past few days whilst its pretty early for them still its normally mid-month or later I see them in June. I just thought what if and as seeing them here is one of the most exciting butterfly moments I have at Lakeside year after year I just wanted to have another nose around with my macro lens just in case. As I’ve said lots before when I’m working in the office at Winchester as normal I cut through this area on my way to and from the railway station and its the evenings I cut back through in the early summer especially that I usually first spot Marbled Whites in a year. I then do my dash back home to get the camera, binoculars and macro lens and get changed and come back out very often to see the very same butterflies once more and get photos. I do this with other species too but the Marbled White the main one I can do this with.
So with the advantage of working from home, the head start of not having to get on a train to get home or get changed when home I headed out. As soon as I was out in the evening with it still very bright but certain shadowing on the landscape here and there compared to afternoon I felt the hot sun on my back and I instantly felt the vibe of those Marbled White summer evenings or those big butterfly evenings after work I’ve had before. It will predominantly be Fridays I do this with me finishing half an hour earlier but I did say I’d try an evening walk or two in the week one day with me always wanting to walk at lunch no matter what with restrictions lessened. I was glad I did tonight just to get this vibe. The vibe continued as I was happy to see a Small Tortoiseshell again in a slightly different area at Lakeside but with how erratic it was flying like it was at lunch time it was likely the same as the one I saw earlier. This as one of my favourite butterflies is one I very often see on these Marbled White night or butterfly walks so it brought back fond memories. Seeing but not photographing the Small Tortoiseshell today was my wild moment of the day really.
Having just bung my macro lens and camera and binoculars round my neck again tonight and got back out I got a brilliant view of a young Long-tailed Tit at Lakeside. Its always the way it seems this year and whilst working from home that whenever I’ve seen Long-tailed Tits really closely and its been a great photo opportunity I’ve only had my macro lens on me and not a more suitable one especially my big lens it was too far away to attempt one with my closeup macro lens really. It disappeared quickly anyway though and you can’t be prepared perfectly to take a photo all the time. It was just very nice to see the bird. I also took the eighth and ninth pictures in this photoset of a lovely flower tonight and a bee. I didn’t see a Marbled White tonight but I am looking forward to the lunch time or evening I hopefully can a regular one I see here each year. When home I further appreciated the sun on a glorious and sunny evening by taking the tenth and final picture in this photoset of one of the young trees visible from my room I saw a nice new tree nice and green on my way back from Lakeside on the green out the front. A perfect symbol of this extraordinary run of weather for this time of year which we have been so lucky to have.
