So, I’m a Marvel fan, but mostly MCU - I haven’t read enough Marvel comics to count, and I have a bad memory for history. I’ve been around long enough to understand that if you’re casting a Jewish character, he should be played by a Jewish actor. But what I’m unclear on is if it’s weird to have a Jewish character be saved by an Egyptian god and then serve him. Is that a weird thing? Should it not be weird in this day and age? Was there significance to it at the time?
Does anyone know of any symbolism behind “rose of sharon” flowers? I’ve read up about the Jewish and Christian connotations, but I’m interested what other interpretations and connections are out there
A few ballpen doodles, including a Daniel I started working on during a lunch break at work. No reference used for the latter.
