So I’m still on and off playing Tales of The Abyss and my god Luke disgusts me. I’ve pretty much kicked him out of active combat so it’s just Jade, Anise, Tear, and Guy all the way. I’ve even stopped upgrading his equipment.
If only I could just let him die in the narrative but unfortunately the story is all about him.
Jade is a smug pretty boy who I know under normal circumstances would probably dislike but because he’s been placed in a party with someone like Luke, Jade is my favorite character in this whole thing. His sarcasm and intelligence and general ability to tolerate silliness but also the fact he always puncture’s Luke’s raging small-mindedness makes him so refreshing.
The others are okay too, Guy is kind of cool but in a generic sort of way. Anise is funny but she has a crush on Luke so really, how great can she be?
Tear is boring. That’s it. Tear exists.

Nothing has been released about Luminaria besides the title, but it likely means we have two new games on the way! Now if we could only get a crumb of news about Arise ;-;
