The Maiden & The Swords
After a long sleepless night, the Maiden came upon a lake. She sat upon the shore in a chair made of birch.
Days of tension, confusion, and uncertainty
Trying to pick between what she wants and what she needs
Even with her eyes wide open she couldn’t come to a conclusion
She laid two Swords upon the ground naming them her choices.
She then placed a white silk cloth upon her eyes and picked up the Two Swords to see which choice weighed more
Alas, she couldn’t tell which was heaviest.
Sitting in stillness she realized that the answer was inside herself.
She listened to the flow of the river and her beating heart when thinking of the choices that weighed heavily in her hands.
She made her decision based on the sword that made her heart beat gently;
Knowing that it was in alignment with the flow of the river.

Your instincts are giving all that you need about what’s in front of you: the truth. Listen to more than you are hearing and you’ll understand how to get out of this messy situation. It’s not your fault you where there in the first place, you were purposefully lead astray. Fan the smoke away from your eyes and see what must be done to right this wrong. Be the example for everyone else.
The creator of Binding of Isaac, Edmund McMillen, noted a few days ago that there’s still a couple Binding of Isaac decks available on the Nicalis store. If you didn’t know there was a tarot deck based on the game, now’s probably a good time to grab one! The deck is a 78-card fully illustrated RWS style deck with art featuring Tikara, and the card backs and borders by Edmund.

Another baby or closet witch tip:
Tarot cards can be expensive and hard to hide in some living situations. If you aren’t comfortable owning a deck right now, you can learn to read playing cards! Playing cards are easy to explain- you could pass it off as an interest in card games or tricks.
I learned the concept of readings with playing cards while claiming my interest in cards stemmed from my now deceased grandfather having taught me solitaire as a kid. (And in all honesty, learning card games has been an anxiety reducer and a source of comfort because of the association with my grandpa, so there’s a bonus). When a friend gifted me a tarot deck in my second year of my practice, the concepts I learned from playing cards transferred easily.
I highly recommend playing cards if you don’t or can’t own tarot at the moment. Here’s some links to get you started:

I really dont understand the point of “bonding” with a tarot deck. You dont read the energy of the cards, youre reading the energy the cards provoke of the querent. If someone could explain the whole “bonding” thing that would be great
