You know you’re alive when you’re down with a cold and the only thing distracting from the fact that dying would probably feel ∞× better than this is watching kitchen nightmares on YouTube while you’re trying to complete your Sim’s ‘sport buddies’ story as fast as you possibly can so you can retire them and empty the slot for a younger sim

inclusivity win: local lesbian acquires david tennant themed tea to drink out of her david tennant mug
Happy Chinese New Year! 2020 is the year of the metal rat.
Every Chinese New Year, I make some Fortui-tea, a recipe that I culled from Patricia Telesco’s Bubble, Bubble, Toil, and Trouble cookbook. I have modified the recipe:
1 ¼ cups of hot water
1 tbsp. of brown sugar
Pinch of ground ginger
4 whole cloves
4 whole allspice berries
1 vanilla tea bag
1 orange tea bag
Boil water. Place the rest of the ingredients in a teapot. Pour water over and steep for 5 to 10 minutes. While steeping, whisper your wishes to the steam. Strain and serve. Makes 2 teacups.
The original recipe is as follows:
2 ¼ cups of hot water
1/3 cup of sugar
¼ cup of brown sugar
1 tbsp. chopped ginger
8 whole cloves
8 whole allspice berries
2 vanilla tea bags
2 orange tea bags
1 bottle of champagne
Boil water. Place the sugar, spices, and tea bags in a teapot. Pour water over and steep for 10 minutes. While steeping, whisper your wishes to the steam. Strain in a punch bowl and add champagne. Serve over crushed ice. Makes 6 servings.
Here is the runway performance from Reinvent the Runway. We had dry ice inside the back pack rigged to come out to mimic her boiler steaming. She might be sticking around past this show. The Announcer has her backstory although it got a little messed up. She was build in 1896 not 1996
Thinking of naming her Evangeline….and possibly a William is coming into her future…We’ll see ;)
☆ Warm tea and coffee wishes ☆
I’ve drunk like four cups of tea in the last couple of hours and the caffeine has NOT made me feel great, I’m SO SHAKY…. So of course, now I’ve substituted regular tea for rooibos because it has no caffeine, but boy, do I have regrets
Camels and green tea today. Ecology is by far the best class I’ve taken in university yet.
