Loosely based on the 90s teen movie Can’t Hardly Wait, the film is a series of tenuously connected vignettes about both about to be retired NHL mascots, and mascots from teams who have either moved or shuttered, all centered around the mascot of the Hartford Whalers, Wally the Whaler, who has written a letter to the city of Hartford professing his love.
A remake of the 90s teen movie Varsity Blues, about the St. Louis Blues’ mascot Louie the polar bear deciding if he wants to go to college to study and make something of himself, or just be a mascot like everyone expects of him. For reasons past understanding, the whipped cream bikini scene is extended by 20 minutes and features a meta commentary on hygiene.
A remake of the 90s teen movie based on Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew, but starring the Montreal Canadiens’ (and former Montreal Expos’) mascot Youppi! The rest of the cast is filled in from the last season of Degrassi, except for Heath Ledger, who is CGI.

Alright y'all so I’m watching Tall Girl on Netflix and it’s a real cute little romcom/teen movie. Yea it’s Hella white girl but honestly Im used to it at this point and the movie is still real cute. I don’t get the hate, there a worse white girl teen romcoms to hate. Also the girl who played Jodi was the tall lil mama I felt so bad for on Dance Mom’s because that crazy Abby Miller bitch would bully her to break downs for being tall and new to dance but she grew up out of that hate and is doing really good for herself now.
The thing I really don’t like about Tall Girl on Netflix is how predictable and boring it is and why the best friend has to be such a Nice Guyᵀᴹ but also: why the hell does she say her feet were always hanging over the end of every bed she slept in? She’s 1,85cm and beds are usually around 2 meters long????? That doesn’t make sense??? Are beds shorter in the US???
It’s nice to see a girl as a main character who isn’t super short but please stop making every teen movie the same, it’s boring and I even skipped parts because they were just too weird… like hanging out with you bullies??? And making out with one of them??? No???

This year of school feels like it’s giving me a transition into a protagonist in a gay coming of age story. Battling with my parents not knowing of myself fully despite the fact that I’m a prominent homosexual in class.
