i think the intro to my own teen movie just happened
hear me out. so it’s currently 12.28am of september 19th 2020 and a few minutes ago, i was eating pancakes at the rooftop, chair tilted at an unreal angle (most probably 140° hehe), while my feet were rested at the rooftop barrier/fence, keeping my chair steady. i was just chilling there, trying to get that peace of mind, with the cold night air blessing my skin, when a shooting star passed by. it was just a second or half but i saw my feet glisten from the meteor’s light. the fence was higher than my head when i sit so i was basically looking up, and there i saw the meteor pass by ; it was nearer than most the shooting stars i’ve seen in the past. its tail burning, faded green, with a bit of white and yellow. it felt like a dream. believe me, i actually doubted my eyes and argued with myself that it might have just been a hallucination. and of course, i made a wish.
what’s also funny is that before all that happened, i (1) was sort of arguing with my family (mostly my mom) and were talking about our futures ; which course to choose in college, how much salary would i be getting if i worked at the hotel my aunt’s friend’s daughter is working at, all that stuff. (2) was reminiscing all the
violence i recieved from my mom in seventh grade because of failed classes. and (3) looking for my cat milo who’s been running away for the past few days. ; which all lead me to go relieve myself up at the rooftop.
if this ain’t the cliché teen movie, i don’t know what is. aND if a handsome 16-year-old boy with curly hair and brown eyes doesn’t show up OR i don’t suddenly get the power to travel interdimensionally, then i don’t want it. i’ll be fine with my delusional fantasies i guess, no drama. that’s all goodnight.
