Pigs In Space by Roger Langridge
Pigs In Space by Roger Langridge
Once I was watching a show, it was a sort of caberet-type production, but with the strangest actors you’ve ever met in your life.
Eventually the show came to this bit where two ladies, dressed in pink boas and decked in glitter, were singing a lovely song. The lyrics, of course, were nothing of substance. Some trill, peppy tune. But onstage with them was a man, a shriveled up old ugly thing, who kept trying to join in with them.
But the girls didn’t like him, and would serve him with pointed glares whenever he sang along, until he was ashamed into silence, forced back into his role.
So tell me Will, what will you sing tonight? Mahna mahna? Or doo-doo-do-doo-doo?
A few days ago, I found this art piece made by @notinearth210 and was like “How about I redraw that” (second one is mine, first one is their’s)
I’ve never drawn Animal before so this is literally my first time doing him. I didn’t draw this for any particular reason. It just looked worthy of a redraw, since it’s one of the artist’s older pieces. Hope they like it.

Sketch a day for the 13th of August drawn on the 14th.
I fell asleep before drawing and slept almost 12 hours.
Happy 5 months of pandemic.
i love grumpy characters with all my heart (speaking of which, does anybody know where floyd is??), but it just feels weird with the swedish chef. his segments in the original muppet show were always so funny and off the wall and yeah, he could get frustrated sometimes, but still…
I feel like this song is what happens when the Electric Mayhem start teaching Robin and his friends from Frog Scouts to play rock and roll music (yep, 100% a School of Rock scenario)
You just know Floyd’s singing the majority of it😆
Meanwhile, Kermit’s looking at this all like:
Okay but fr can the writers stop with the whole Miss Piggy/Kermit ex relationship bad blood thing??
Let’s skip to the part where they both realize they’re gay and were in a comphet relationship and then after coming out they become friends again and a solid representation of mlm and wlw solidarity
Miss Piggy: You have to make time for others and not just talk about Muppets all the time, like someone I know
whispers is it bad that i found this episode kind of ehhh?
i really liked last week’s episode, but the pacing in this one felt off and the swedish chef segment seemed to really drag on. it’s probably my least favorite segment on the show, honestly and i feel bad saying that because the swedish chef is so iconic, but man…that felt like it went on forever…
the stuff with bunsen and beaker was good and anything with deadly is an absolute gift, but i wasn’t keen on the relationship talk because it’s been done to death. the game show segment was pretty funny as well, but again, the timing in this show feels stretched out and it could’ve used a few more laughs.
also this series needs 100% more rowlf.
overall, it wasn’t terrible, it was just…okay.
Fozzie Bear Inspired Crochet Pattern
made some muppet fanbabies!!
stella grace honeydew: beaker’s eleven year old rowdy daughter from a previous marriage, who came to live with him and benson after they got married. stella’s mother tragically passed after she was born so that left her and beaker alone for a few years until beaker met bunsen. stella is rowdy, loud, and sweet.
voice claim: gosalyn mallard from darkwing duck
seb/seb the spectacular: seb is gonzo and fozzie’s ten year old adopted son. when preparing to adopt the couple heard of seb, a baby bear who was taken to an orphanage after his only caretaker, his grandfather, passed away. the two were struck with joy when they held their son for the first time. seb is shy, quiet, and kind.
voice claim: charlie brown
jonah “juvenile jonah” pepper: jonah is floyd and janice’s ten year old biological son. he was born a year after the two got married, no matter in what situation he’s put in, he’s a mess. a loud, hyper, lovable mess. jonah is hyper, comedic, and super energetic.
voice claim: tru valentino as cuphead on the cuphead show
Seriously though, is there a way to get the recipes on Muppets Now?
Scooter: So what was your reaction?
Next time on Muppets Now: ANIMAL!!!
Fozzie: “I just saw Kermit cry for like five or six minutes, then his alarm went off and he just… stopped crying? And he went back to work?”
Kermit: “It’s called time management Fozzie.”
The Muppets Now on Disney+ isn’t really as good as the original Muppets, the only good part tbh was when Gonzo was talking to Rupaul
“If you were sitting on top of a trap door would you wanna know about it? 👀”
