instagram gets boring with no following
some (really fuckin adorable) words of encouragement for any fellow creators out there 🥰
It's hard being so funny and right and sexy all the time
Things I have learned from "stantwt" and "stantiktok" but make it short because I am sleep deprived.
1. Support female content creators! unless they interact with your favorite male creator
2. Support small content creators! unless they are women and they interact with your fav male content creator
3. Accept ur male content creator's apology when they have educated themselves even if you were not affected by their actions because "he did nothing wrong". (You think that because you didn't get slapped in the face with the racist remarks and transphobic jokes, Becky.)
4. When a female cc apologize, explains, and show that she is educated on the topic...dont forgive her, just tell the male cc that are actually close friends with her to stop being her friend. (She gave her explanation, she wrote her apology, and she has shown that she has educated herself on the subject. Just live up to the fact that you don't want her to be close to your fav male content creators...)
In conclusion: Love and support content creators who make good content. Absolutely dislike many of the viewers and what their "dedication" seems to be.
Over the last few months I have been focusing on creating posts on a variety of social media platforms, and expanding my reach to new and interesting people. Since beginning I have created a new LinkedIn account and connected with 20+ people, improved my profile account on my Pinterest, Twitter, and TikTok so they are engaging and reflect one another. I have also posted and had high engagement on my Twitter and TikTok. By doing this I have reached new people, but also had some fun along the way. My main interest during this project was focusing on my Instagram since I use it the most for my design work, and I enjoy the platform most. I have learned how to create a posting schedule, create engaging posts, and connect with new people. I recently crafted a post specifically for my Instagram stories that consisted of artist books I had read and impacted my growth as a designer, which was also connected to my Medium article I had written. I not only had something I can add to my saved stories for future reference, but I also gained feedback from a variety of people stating how beneficial the information was. I love using my account to connect with people and share new and interesting information I have learned and I think sharing this in my Instagram stories is very beneficial.
My main goal with social media moving forward is to not allow the numbers to consume me. I love being on social media, and feel I have gained experience on how to stay engaged and interested in the world of social media, however, I realize at some points I become obsessed with increase and decrease in likes & engagement. Although numbers do spark growth, being able to always stay connected to my design work and to not equate to likes on a screen to my self worth, will always be my biggest priority as I continue to increase my engagement online.
AHHHHH I CANT DO THIS
Hey, so I'm on Tiktok and you should probably follow me
Sometimes I post cool shit, js 😏
pls feel free to talk abt how u hate the dsmp in my asks i like hearing slander abt it
called me out
okay, we can start using tumblr again right? Instagram is dying for personal use and becoming mostly commercial. I need a way to connect deeper than Twitter but not as intense and demanding as a group chat because i am broken, fundamentally. tiktok creates great communities, but lacks a good social interactive element.
