Her injuries had been worse than she’d first thought. The explosion had left her with quite a bit of internal bruising, a few cracked ribs, and some lacerations on the right side of her body. The side that had taken the brunt of the force. But she’d been healing steadily under Paris’ watchful eye, his quiet manor was the perfect place to regain her strength and she was sure he wouldn’t allow her to leave anyway until he knew she was okay. There would be scars from the wounds still covered by small bandages that she was sure Amycus would fret over, and she was still somewhat unsteady on her feet, but the worst was behind her now. She still couldn’t remember a lot of what happened, and she doubted she would ever regain those memories, but she knew the most important thing; that their mission had been a success.
She was resting in bed, absent-mindedly flipping through a book when she heard the soft knock at her door. “Come in,” she called, not looking up to see who it was for a moment, assuming it to be one of the staff. When she did eventually look up a delighted smile broke across her face, and she put her book down, “Bella!” She reached her hands out to the other girl as she approached the bed, “what are you doing here?”0guys this is so sad i did not know that if i continued eating a chocolate it would literally disappear
