She tries her best to balance the two filled paper bags in each arm, her shoulder hunched up to hold her phone against her ear as she walks.
“And this is your 3rd date now?” she asks with happy shock, “I’m glad things are going so well.”
She nears the entrance to the complex, not concerned about how she might get her key. “Yeah, yeah we should hang this weekend… no not at the mall. You two go there enough.”
The ground is still wet from the rainfall that morning, a puddle of water still present on the front steps. “Arcade?…. oh let me guess, your girlfriend showed you it?” she teases.
She looks around, uselessly attempting to grab her keys from her purse dangling from an arm. “Right. Not your girlfriend yet,” she laughs. “But listen, I gotta go. I’ll talk to you later ok? Tell Nayeon I said hi!”
