*According to a comment on the source, 45 rpm records were created until 1949, and so they are actually listening to 78 rpm records! I have left the original caption from the magazine.

Judy Garland dressed as a clown on The Judy Garland Show!
Wow, isn’t she beautiful? 🤡❤️
This is my badass aunt. I think this is her shortly after finishing her master’s degree because she’s sporting her class ring. She looks exactly like, and is, a librarian.
She lived and worked in Chicago for decades, and was the first person I ever knew to get an email address. When we were living in a book-desert, she made sure to mail us books of all sorts. She also cut out and mailed Calvin and Hobbes for us before our newspaper started carrying it (my sister would collect them into a photo album); and she would record The Simpsons on VHS and send it to us before our town got Fox.
She was an ametuer scuba diver and archeologist (sometimes at the same time!) and owned and loved several ferrets in her life.
Who’s ready to jump into summer?
