Vintage + flare day 8: my stomach is so bloated after a couple days of being constipated. I’ve definitely been eating too much solid type foods. I wore a wrap skirt for the first time in awhile and it did not disappoint. I’ve been eating way too much ice cream since staying with my cousin and I always pick the b&j non dairy that has stuff in it so it’s still digesting and this still angry. Hydrating is key and I’m trying to add more to my day but it kinda makes me feel sick after awhile. My bladder has been causing me trouble as well *sigh* but im getting more and more of a familial medical history while I’m here and it’s so helpful. The only thing I don’t like os having to explain myself, why I’m using an aid or not eating or am eating or why cannabis is such a lifeline for me. I hate defending the things I do to help me function, why would we do it if we don’t need too? Simple as that. There’s no reason to use them if you don’t need too and also my diagnosis dates, rude to ask as well. I’m just tired of hearing the same negative things and feeling the same negative feelings. Hopefully one day disability awareness will be more common and people will realize how and why it’s important not to say those things. But until then… we advocate.
