“I used to dream about escaping my ordinary life, but my life was never ordinary. I had simply failed to notice how extraordinary it was.”

I don’t belong here;
Im ganna go into the woods and find a fae. When i do i will proceed to teach them about undertale and Among us.
little witchy thing I do:
collect rocks from the side of the road. wash them off to cleanse them. hold them tight, pour all of your happy feelings for your special person, set your intention. Do you want them to know how much they mean to you? How much you love them? How worthy of happiness and goodness they are? If it helps, get all your thoughts down on a piece of paper and rub it on the rock. You can make a sigil, make a potion to dip it in, pretty much anything.
Now give your friend that rock. Put it in their garden, their mailbox, on their doorstep, somewhere they’ll touch it. You can even hand it to them or slip it into a bag.
I do this for my good friend, and while she’s exasperated by the volume of rocks, I put all my love and devotion to her in each one and set intentions to help her with her problems.
I want to be the one to remind people that even though most religions are culturally or regionally constructed, and don’t always have proof of the miracles that claim to happen or the higher being they worship, possession and evil spirits truly do exist and demons are out there, so don’t fuck with rituals or things like that even as a joke and only consider doing spellwork unless you truly have the best intentions. especially don’t fuck with religions or practices that are closed, because those can backfire twice as hard if you participate in it without the correct guidance. You don’t have to believe in a higher being to be affected by negative energy, so do consider doing some spiritual protection in your life when you have the time.
Religion and spirituality has rules, and those rules are there to keep you safe so if you skip a step in a spell because it seems insignificant or if you see a ritual you want to try from a sketchy source, best bet is to either reconsider, do it correctly or not at all. This is coming from the best intention, and I don’t want to offend someone by saying that their god may not potentially exist, but that is what some people believe and why they may not take this stuff as seriously as they should; then they wonder why they have worse luck than when they started when they messed around where they shouldn’t be.
Not to mention by messing up a spell or ritual on purpose you are messing with the lives of those around you or even your own. I kind of just said this but seriously, if you don’t care about yourself as much think about the others you may potentially harm in pursuing this path. Is it worth it?
All I want to say is keep your head above still water. It doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t do spellwork at all, but just practice very cautiously. There’s a reason why experienced witches say spellwork shouldn’t be left to beginners, and it’s because we have more of a chance of messing up and having the spell backfire. Even though many of us are ambitious, we need to remember protection above all else. It’s only for the greater good.
