#DailyGratitude LOOK UP. We’re on our phones all day that we forget to see the beauty in front of us. Say “YES” if you agree below ⬇️
.
Today I’m grateful to be a witness to the wonders of this planet IRL. With travel being next to impossible and our ability to be somewhere else is left to the devices we keep our eyes on, every chance to soak in natural beauty is such a gift, one I never take for granted.
.
So smell the mountain air, take a walk, and listen & feel what it’s like to actually be ALIVE.☀️

The night was cold and growing dark as the two men approached one another. The sun had not been gone long. The earth beneath their feet was as cold as the air, silent, as if it watched the strange meeting.
The two men were nearly as different as could be, although both had long beards. One was tall, ancient, hoary. His clothing was grey and worn, threadbare and (in places) tattering robes. They hung about his thin frame. He wore rings of lead upon his bony fingers. And yet, despite his haggard appearance, there was something in that ancient face that bespoke nobility, the bearing up of many sorrows, and bitter wisdom. He was grim. He was lonely. He was Father Time.
The second man was as unlike him as night from day. His clothes were bright, red as the blood of mercy, and his beard, unlike the scraggly grey of the other, was snowy, starry white. He was stout, but not fat, and sturdily built. His face bore a great smile, and there was a brighter gleam in his eyes than in the sky around them. But they held something else, something more than mere jocularity. They were alike in this, for his face held something good and noble and secretly grave. Yet he was joyful. He was merry. He was Father Christmas.
“Hello, hello, hello
Walking through a meadow
Full of sunflowers, picking off the petals
I don’t wanna wake up without you laying next to me
I’m no good at waiting
All the separation
Feeling suffocated
I just need to breathe
And I’m starting to hate it
I can’t wait to fall asleep
Oh baby
When I’m apart from you
I just close my eyes
And all I have to do
Is dream, dream, dream, dream
About you”
