Organizers of Trump Rally Had Been on Campaign’s Payroll
Former President Donald Trump’s campaign paid more than $2.7 million over two years to individuals and firms that organized the Jan. 6 rally that led to rioters storming the U.S. Capitol, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.
The payments, which span Trump’s re-election campaign, show an ongoing financial relationship between the rally’s organizers and Trump’s political operation. They were all made through Nov. 23, the most recent date covered by Federal Election Commission filings, which is before the rally was publicly announced.
Eight paid Trump campaign officials were named on the permit issued on by the National Park Service for the rally, including Maggie Mulvaney, the niece of Mick Mulvaney, Trump’s former chief of staff who resigned his position as special envoy to Northern Ireland after the riot. Maggie Mulvaney was paid $138,000 by the campaign through Nov. 23.
After the rally, in which the president encouraged them to march on the Capitol, Trump supporters stormed the building, disrupting the count of Electoral College votes in an event that ultimately killed five people. Lawmakers and Vice President Mike Pence, who was presiding over what is normally a ceremonial event, were forced to flee.
The Associated Press first reported the payments.

It’s really time for people on the right to wake up. If you think you’re helping our country by stalking and beating the shit out of antifa wimps, you’re not.
The Compleat Anti-Antifa Handbook handbook clearly talks about how our side should not be the initial aggressors, because that only gains the other side support. The ideas being spread by antifa will gain popularity the more it looks like their opposition are essentially violent savage cavemen. This is exactly how to lose the culture war and basically foster political support among the next generation for policies and politicians with antifa style ideologies. If you out debated these people, you might even get some* of them to disavow their hypocritical ideologies and realize the truth and join our side but they will only double down on the social justice craziness if violently attacked first.
The biggest threats to the American way of life are currently employed in Washington DC and spending your time on distractions will only ensure that these criminals continue to be employed with our tax dollars. Those are the folks secretly funding antifa, in the hopes that they will distract you.
Right now antifa hates Joe Biden.
So do we.
The entire nation essentially has little faith in the integrity of the system as it functions today, so the best idea is to focus on whatever can be fixed in that system and ignore the useful idiots who don’t even fully understand why they’d be fighting against you.
Expose and oppose fraud and corruption wherever you see it.
Get busy joining your local committees and become election judges and poll workers as well as poll watchers. If all of this is not worth one damn day of work every few years, then stop pretending like it matters to you at all.
Securing the integrity of future elections is much more important than emotional outbursts towards confused useful idiots. After that’s done, run for office, or support someone who is a good candidate, win and make the changes needed.
Otherwise, give up and stop being actively involved in politics.
Just vote and pray like the rest of the masses.
